Our department strives to provide
care in an evidence-based manner using the multi-disciplinary
resources available at our teaching hospital. This
is demonstrated through our commitment to participate
in clinical trials and research. We are actively
involved in both national and international trials,
many of which are in conjunction with other Alfred
departments or with Monash University. The department
staff collaborate with many groups, not just in clinical
research, but in clinical care, clinical audit and
in projects to study and to improve patient information
and support.
